From the King’s Station Stagway, head left into the main Stagway area, then down to the bottom. This Grub is located in the Tower of Love sub-area, located in the eastern section of the City of Tears, just right of King’s Station. It also requires The Collector to be defeated. NOTE: This Grub requires the Love Key, located in Queen’s Gardens. ![]() Smash the glass to free it and send it back to its loving Grubfather. Dispatch them to cause the gate to raise, granting access to the Grub. From the central area Bench, head up two screens, then follow the path all the way to the left and drop down, back to the leafy area of Greenpath.ĭrop down, then head to the right side of that area to encounter a Moss Knight. The seventh Grub is located in the western region of Greenpath, in the area just right of where the Knight fights Hornet. Hop up onto the ledge on the right and you'll find the Grub. Hug the wall on the right, and you’ll soon reach the bottom of the shaft and a pool of acid. Slash the other vine ahead of you to unlock a shortcut, then hop down into the next area.Ĭontinue downward, slashing vines and dropping slabs to create a pathway forward. Slice the vine holding up the large stone slab, then drop down on top of it and hop across the spikes and up to the ledge on the left. From Cornifer (and Grub #5), head left through the gap in the rock wall, then hop up the ledges and continue left. During this time, you can heal up to three Masks of damage or, if you are already at full health, you can sneak in an extra, unguarded attack.Ĭontinue to fight conservatively and eventually you'll defeat Hornet, causing her to flee, and freeing you up to loot the body of her last victim, scoring the incredibly useful Mothwing Cloak for your trouble.The sixth Grub is located in the eastern region of Greenpath, south of where Cornifer sells the Greenpath map. Once you deal a certain amount of damage, Hornet will become stunned, standing in place for several seconds before she recovers. Sidestep her landing zone and you should be able to land one or two strikes before you need to move. Hornet may also leap into the air and then dash diagonally towards the Knight. She can't be harmed by your Nail during this time, so keep your distance, heal, or leap up and cast Vengeful Spirit. If you are properly positioned, you can also leap over the needle, strike, then jump away as it returns to Hornet, but timing must be precise.įrom time to time, Hornet will leap into the air and slash all around her in a large damaging circle. This attack roots her in place for a short time, so if you can stay out of range, this provides an excellent time to heal. She will wind up, hurl her weapon ahead of her nearly the two-thirds length of the arena, then recall it. Jump as she makes her charge and slash downward at her to deal damage while avoiding harm.Īnother attack is her needle throw attack. One of Hornet's long range attacks is her dash attack, where she will wind up before quickly charging roughly three-fourths of the way across the screen.
